Role Description This full-time remote role of Commercial Insurance Specialist focuses on advising business clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options.

Responsibilities include assessing client risk profiles, preparing and reviewing policy proposals, and coordinating with insurance carriers and brokerage partners to secure appropriate coverage. The specialist will respond to client inquiries, handle policy renewals and endorsements, and assist with claims-related documentation and follow-ups. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in internal systems,



staying current with industry regulations and market trends, and supporting continuous improvement of Coverbiz’s insurance workflows and client experience.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of commercial Insurance products, coverage types, and risk assessment.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance , including basic financial analysis and risk–return concepts.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage , including working with carriers and negotiating terms for clients.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear, professional interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and client retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and comfort using digital tools and CRM systems.
- Relevant skilled certifications in insurance or risk management are an advantage.
