Detailed Profile

1. Trade:

a) Import / Domestic Letter of Credit (LC) from Bank:

Ø Preparation and Submission of LC application online / offline

Ø Submission of LC application forms to Bank and Follow up for Draft

Ø Supplier confirmation

Ø Final LC issuance / Amendment from Bank

Ø Sending acceptance to Bank on supplier Bills of Exchange taking signature of authorised Signatory.

Ø Realising supply Documents from Bank against LC

Ø Maintaining the LC register for payment of Bills as per LC on due date

Ø Bank LC Closure after payment

Ø Submitting Bill of Entries (BOE) to Bank for closure of Open Acceptance of Import Bills b) Bank Guarantee (BG) from Bank:

Ø Bank / Performance Guarantee Application – Preparation, Draft Validation & Final issuance from Bank (on marketing / purchase request)

Ø Bank Guarantee extensions from Banks (On request of Marketing / Purchase)

Ø Original BG collection from Bank and re-verify as per standard acceptance terms

Ø Customer international BG confirmation from bank in case of high-risk countries as per standard terms

Ø Follow-up of BG collection from Marketing / customer for Limit restoration after expiry period of BG

Ø Vetting Checklist sent by CHA against import shipment vide Bill of Entry (BOE) draft

Ø Checking the Duty Payable or not payable against IGCRD, Concessional Rate of Duty / Taxes

Ø Reply to the queries of Customs against Imports

Ø Ensuring Timely filing of BOE on custom portal

Ø Ensuring timely payment of Duty / Taxes to custom portal against challan

Ø Liaison of Clearances with customs

Ø Coordination with CHA / Transporter for timely clearances of Import shipments from port

Ø Coordination for Stores / Purchase for the timely receipt of Imported goods

Ø Submission of BOE to bank

4. Insurance - Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) Credit Insurance - Exports

Ø Coordinating of ECGC for taking credit limits of Customers

Ø Submitting Monthly returns to ECGC against exports & Export customer outstanding
