Role Overview

As a member of the Credit Risk Operations team, you will play an important role in managing and monitoring collection activities, analysing delinquency trends, supporting effective recovery of overdue accounts.

The role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure collection processes are carried out efficiently, compliantly, and in line with Kuhoo s policies and customer-first approach.

What will you do

Collections Management Analysis

Monitor overdue and delinquent accounts and support timely recovery of outstanding dues





- Analyse collection and delinquency data to identify trends, risk patterns, and areas requiring intervention
- Track portfolio performance across delinquency buckets and prepare regular collection MIS and dashboards
- Support implementation of collection strategies across tele-calling, digital communication, field collections, and

agency channels
- Segment customers based on delinquency stage, risk profile, and repayment behaviour to guide collection

interventions
- Identify early-default cases and analyse reasons for delinquency
- Share portfolio-level observations and feedback with Credit, Risk, Product, and Operations teams
- Support periodic review and improvement of collection processes and SOPs

Monitoring Coordination

- - Track follow-ups, payment commitments, recoveries, and unresolved accounts.
- Assist in agency onboarding, documentation, training, and periodic performance reviews.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure collection activities are being performed as per defined processes.
- Support branch/field audits and help close identified process or compliance gaps.
- Maintain accurate collection records and ensure timely updating of collection systems and MIS.

Recovery Legal Coordination

- - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners for cases requiring legal or recovery intervention.
- Maintain trackers for legal and recovery cases and follow up on pending actions.
- Support documentation required for recovery and legal processes.
- Ensure cases are escalated appropriately based on ageing, delinquency status, and defined escalation matrices.
- Maintain a working understanding of legal and regulatory mechanisms applicable to collections and recoveries.

Fraud Risk Support:

- Support FCU/RCU and investigation activities wherever required
- Review identified early-default or suspicious cases for possible fraud indicators




- Coordinate with RCU/verification agencies for field verification and investigation requirements
- Support pre- and post-disbursement verification activities based on defined sampling parameters
- Highlight unusual customer or repayment patterns to the relevant Risk/FCU teams

Compliance Governance

- - Ensure collection activities adhere to Kuhoos policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Ensure appropriate and professional customer communication across all collection channels
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for collection and recovery activities
- Ensure adherence to prudent social, ethical, and legal norms during customer interactions
- Participate in periodic training and process-update sessions on collections, recovery, compliance, and customer handling.

What are we looking for Must-have

Hands-on experience managing or monitoring retail lending collections

- 3-5 years of experience in Collections, flows, and recoveries within Banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, or other Financial

Services organisations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with collection MIS and portfolio data
- Good working knowledge of Excel / PPT and data management
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Should-have

- Experience coordinating with external collection or recovery agencies
- Experience handling unsecured lending portfolios.

Qualification Experience Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field

- MBA or relevant finance qualification will be preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail collections and recovery across various buckets / DPDs
