- Set up and run CNC turning and VMC (milling) machines under the supervisor's guidance.
- Load raw material, start programs and watch the machine while it runs.
- Check finished parts using measuring tools like vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Keep machines and work area clean, and inform seniors about any problem immediately.
Skills required
- ITI in Machinist / Turner / Fitter (freshers welcome - training given).
- Interest in machine-shop work and willingness to learn.
- Basic reading of drawings is an advantage.
