The selected candidate should be capable of taking a component from drawing and process sheet → machine setup → tooling and offset setting → first-piece inspection → production → in-process correction, with minimum supervision.

The role requires ownership of both quality and productivity, not merely machine operation.

- Set CNC turning machines for new and existing components.
- Mount and align tools, holders, jaws, collets, fixtures, and workholding devices.
- Set work offsets, tool offsets, wear offsets, and tool geometry.
- Set component zero/reference points correctly.
- Load and verify CNC programs before production.
- Make necessary offset corrections during production.
- Ensure proper clamping and component orientation.




- Perform tool changes and manage tool life.
