Responsible for operation, setup, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC Turning Machines used for precision machining of components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC Turning / CNC Lathe machines.
- Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring and drilling operations.
- Tool setting, offset correction and workpiece alignment.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Handle CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi.
- Perform first-piece inspection and dimensional measurement using vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
- Carry out tool changes and optimize cutting parameters.
- Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, CNC and machining-related problems.
- Maintain production, quality and machine records.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
