Responsible for operation, setup, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ALTO CNC Turning Machines used for precision machining of components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up ALTO CNC Turning Machine / CNC Lathe.
- Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring and drilling operations.
- Tool setting, tool offset correction and workpiece alignment.
- Read engineering drawings, dimensions and machining tolerances.
- Operate CNC controls such as Fanuc / Siemens, depending on machine configuration.
- Perform tool changes and optimize cutting parameters.
- Carry out first-piece inspection and dimensional checking.
- Troubleshoot machine, CNC, tooling and machining-related issues.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance where required.
- Maintain production, quality and machine records.
