CNC Operator – Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in operating CNC milling or turning machines under the guidance of senior operators or supervisors.
- Learn and follow CNC machine operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Load and unload components, fixtures, and cutting tools correctly as per the job requirements.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining symbols.
- Assist with basic tool setting, tool offset measurement, and tool changes under supervision.
- Perform basic dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor machining operations and immediately report tool wear, abnormal noise, vibration, or machine issues.
- Maintain proper machine cleanliness, coolant levels,



lubrication, and workplace 5S.
- Maintain basic production and inspection records as instructed by the supervisor.
- Follow PPE, safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements while continuously developing CNC machining skills.

Education

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Required)

Experience:
- CNC operation: 1 year (Required)
