Responsible for operation, setup, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty CNC Gantry Milling/Machining machines used for large and heavy components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain GM 500/1000 CNC Gantry Machine.
- Perform heavy-duty milling, drilling, boring and machining operations.
- Machine setup, workpiece alignment and tool setting.
- Handle gantry, cross-rail, spindle head, table and machine-axis systems.
- Troubleshoot CNC, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and servo systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Check machine alignment, geometry, positioning and machining accuracy.
- Read engineering drawings and understand machining tolerances.
- Handle CNC controls such as Siemens / Fanuc / Heidenhain, depending on machine configuration.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for job trials and dimensional accuracy.
