We are looking for a motivated CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) Intern pursuing their CMA qualification to join our finance/accounts team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and management reporting within a real business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost sheets, budgets, and variance analysis reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Help maintain and reconcile financial records and ledgers
- Assist in preparing MIS reports for management review
- Support statutory compliance and audit-related documentation
- Analyze cost data to identify areas for cost optimization
- Assist senior accountants/finance managers with day-to-day tasks
Requirements
- Pursuing CMA (Intermediate/Final level) from ICMAI or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar) is a plus
- Robust analytical and numerical skills
- Good communication and time-management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
