Role Overview:
We are looking for a Cloud Systems & Operations Engineer with 46 years of experience to manage and monitor our cloud infrastructure and ITSM workflows. You will focus on maintaining cloud uptime across AWS and Azure, managing relational databases, aggregating logs, and automating operational tasks during US business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operations & Standards: Keep standard operating procedures (SOPs) up to date for incident management and routine system maintenance.
• Monitoring & Administration: Monitor AWS and Azure environments using centralized logging tools. Manage operational tasks for MySQL databases on Windows and cloud environments.
• Incident Support: Process service requests and resolve incidents submitted through ITSM platforms. Work with core engineering teams to fix recurring issues.
• Automation: Write Python scripts to automate repetitive system tasks, health checks,
and maintenance routines.
Required Technical & Qualified Skills:
• Experience: 4 to 6 years supporting cloud operations, systems administration, and ITSM workflows in enterprise setups.
• Cloud Platforms: Direct experience supporting multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Logging & Monitoring: Practical experience aggregating and querying logs using OpenSearch and Splunk.
• ITSM Tools: Experience managing tickets in Jira Service Management, Confluence, and BMC Remedy.
• Databases & OS: Core administration experience with MySQL and Windows Server environments.
• Scripting: Hands-on experience writing Python scripts for task automation.
• Flexibility: Good problem-solving skills and willingness to work night shifts.
