About The Job:

- We are seeking an experienced Network Security / SASE Support Engineer with solid expertise in Prisma Access, Zscaler, and Palo Alto Networks technologies.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for incident management, troubleshooting, firewall administration, secure access services, and operational support of enterprise network security environments.

Essential Job Functions:

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

- Handle critical incidents, escalations, and major service disruptions.
- Troubleshoot user access issues involving VPN, proxy, and SASE platforms.
- Investigate and resolve application and website access issues.
- Diagnose DNS, latency, routing, and connectivity-related problems.
- Analyze logs using Panorama (Palo Alto Networks Management Platform).
- Utilize Zscaler dashboards (ZIA and ZPA) to investigate operational and user issues.
- Perform packet capture analysis using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.

SASE Platform Operations
- Provide operational support for Prisma Access environments including Mobile Users, Remote Networks, and Service Connections.
- Support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments.
- Troubleshoot GlobalProtect VPN connectivity and authentication issues.
- Support Zscaler Client Connector deployment and troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor user traffic flow and tunnel health across SASE platforms.




- Investigate and resolve IPsec and GRE tunnel failures.
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues.
- Monitor and optimize secure remote access performance and availability.

Firewall Administration
- Configure, administer, and manage Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Create and maintain security policies and firewall rule sets.
- Configure and manage NAT policies and address translation rules.
- Administer URL filtering and web security policies.
- Support and troubleshoot App-ID and User-ID based security policies.
- Perform SSL Decryption troubleshooting and optimization.
- Monitor firewall health, performance, logs, and security events.
- Review and optimize firewall configurations to ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities
- Perform proactive monitoring of network security infrastructure.
- Support change management, upgrade, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and technical runbooks.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Provide recommendations for platform optimization, security enhancements, and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and operational standards.
- Support on-call rotation and critical incident response activities as required.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with Prisma Access.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols.




- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL VPN.
- Understanding of proxy technologies including Client Files and Explicit Proxy configurations.
- Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with policy-based troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong experience resolving user access and connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of authentication, SSO, and identity-based access control solutions.
- Experience with packet capture analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
