Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, containerization, and DevOps practices. In this remote role, you will collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Configure and manage cloud networking, storage, compute, and security services.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and cloud service issues.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-native applications.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Perform capacity planning, resource optimization, and cloud cost management.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Robust knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Pulumi).
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or similar certification.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and TCP/IP.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
