Responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate Azure-based platform and infrastructure capabilities supporting microservices and Kubernetes workloads (AKS).

- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep/ARM (modular templates, reusable components, environment consistency).

- Build, enhance, and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications and infrastructure deployments.

- Drive reliability improvements using SRE practices: auto-healing, auto-remediation, runbooks/automation, and safe deployment strategies.

- Implement and operate observability across monitoring, logging, tracing, and telemetry, enabling actionable alerting and faster root-cause analysis.

- Improve platform security by embedding DevSecOps practices (secure pipelines, secrets handling, RBAC, policy controls, compliance).

- Participate in incident response/on-call (as applicable), perform post-incident reviews, and implement preventive fixes.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience delivering DevOps/Platform Engineering outcomes in Azure, including production support and automation.

- Strong knowledge of AKS/Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native deployment patterns.





- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts, approvals, release strategies).

- Strong experience in IaC using Bicep/ARM (and good understanding of Azure resource governance and lifecycle).

- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Azure CLI.

- Ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient solutions in Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.

Desired Skills and Competencies

- Experience with Git branching strategies, release governance, and pipeline quality gates.

- Working knowledge of Azure governance and security: RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, tagging standards, cost optimization.

- Experience with ingress, certificates, service mesh (optional), and AKS networking concepts.

- Experience with Azure monitoring stack (e.g., Azure Monitor/Log Analytics/Application Insights) or similar observability tools.

- Solid troubleshooting skills, performance tuning mindset, and ability to communicate clearly with dev and security teams.
