Cloud Database Engineer

Location: Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid

Experience: 4+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise database environments.

- Work extensively on Apache Cassandra or Couchbase in production environments.

- Handle database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and cluster management.

- Perform performance tuning, monitoring, backup & recovery, replication, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR).

- Work with AWS RDS and cloud-based database environments.

- Troubleshoot production database issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Automate database operational activities using scripting/automation tools.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Cassandra OR Couchbase.

- Experience with AWS RDS.

- Solid knowledge of NoSQL database administration.

- Experience with HA/DR, replication, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support.

- Good knowledge of Linux.

- Exposure to Shell/Python scripting, Ansible, Kubernetes, or other automation tools is preferred.
