- Define and guide the adoption of cloud solutions on the Group private cloud platform, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, observable, supportable, and compliant with Group standards.
- Collaborate closely with application teams to guide cloud design choices, platform usage, integration patterns, connectivity, security, deployment models, resilience, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Work with Group service providers delivering PaaS and IaaS services to align platform capabilities, constraints, roadmaps, support models, and service consumption patterns with application and production needs.
- Guide infrastructure engineers, cloud engineers, and DevOps teams in preparing infrastructure automation scripts, optimizing deployment artifacts, and improving CI/CD deployment pipelines for reliable and repeatable delivery on the private cloud platform.
- Review and challenge automation approaches, cloud operations procedures, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and production support practices to drive continuous improvement of cloud solutions.
- Participate in the specification, setup approach, execution review, and documentation of Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions, including recommendations for production adoption.
- Act as a bridge between application teams, Group PaaS/IaaS service providers, Technical Architects, ToolChain, infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, and production support teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption and operational handover.
- Review cloud solution designs to confirm alignment with architecture principles, blueprints, security controls, production performance expectations, stability requirements, and operational support standards.
- Define and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture decisions, implementation guidelines, automation standards, operational runbooks, production readiness checklists, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Proactively identify opportunities for standardization, process improvement, deployment optimization, resilience enhancement, and innovation across cloud operations.
Analyze the current technology and production cloud operating environment to detect critical deficiencies, recommend improvements, and guide remediation actions in collaboration with application teams,
Group PaaS/IaaS service providers, infrastructure, DevOps, cloud engineering, and production support teams.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute to cloud architecture frameworks, reusable patterns, service consumption models, automation standards, operational guardrails, and production readiness criteria for private cloud PaaS and IaaS services. Promote these frameworks across application, infrastructure, DevOps, production, and Group service provider teams.
- Contribute to impact analysis and studies for business, application, platform, and production needs. Guide exploratory studies, prototypes, and Proof of Concepts carried out with application teams and Group service providers to assess feasibility, operability, security, resilience, and fit with the Group private cloud architecture.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Total 12+ years of overall IT experience, including robust experience in cloud architecture, production operations, application team engagement, private cloud service consumption, PaaS/IaaS integration, automation governance, DevOps practices, architecture review, and application delivery oversight.
