Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Specialist role based in Chennai.

The Clinical

Specialist will provide clinical support and product expertise to healthcare professionals, including conducting demonstrations, in-service trainings, and education on Polymed’s medical devices and consumables. The role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to address clinical queries, assist in evaluations, and support product adoption in hospitals and clinics.

Specialist will help gather clinical feedback, contribute to evidence-based usage guidelines,



and relay insights to internal teams to improve products and user experience. The position also includes maintaining accurate documentation of clinical activities, complying with relevant clinical and regulatory standards, and representing the company at conferences, workshops, and customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical knowledge in medical devices and consumables, preferably in areas such as infusion therapy, anesthesia, critical care, urology, and dialysis.
- Experience providing product training, demonstrations, and in-service education to clinicians and hospital staff.
- Ability to interpret clinical data, understand hospital protocols, and support evidence-based product usage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong documentation, organization, and time-management capabilities.
- Comfort working in hospital and clinical environments, including operating rooms and intensive care units.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a clinical specialist, application specialist, or medical device field role is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required for hospital visits, trainings, and events.
