Roles and Responsibilities :

- Provide expert guidance on infection control practices to healthcare staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and industry standards.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for nursing staff on infection prevention techniques, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental cleaning.
- Conduct regular audits and surveillance activities to identify areas of improvement in infection control processes and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop protocols for managing high-risk patients or outbreaks of infectious diseases.

Job Requirements :

- 6-20 years of experience as an Infection Control Nurse (ICN) or equivalent role.
- Robust knowledge of ICN principles, guidelines, and regulations such as those set by The Joint Commission.
- Experience in developing educational materials, conducting workshops, and providing training sessions on infection control topics.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
