About the Role

CARE – Chettinad Academy of Research and Education is seeking a Clinical Instructor – Medical Physics to support academic and clinical training in Medical Physics. The role involves guiding students during practical sessions and supporting clinical learning and departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and clinical training sessions in Medical Physics.
- Guide students in laboratory and clinical applications of Medical Physics.
- Support teaching activities related to radiation physics, dosimetry and radiation safety.
- Assist in demonstrations, assessments and student evaluations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, records and training documentation.
- Coordinate with faculty and clinical departments for student training.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and institutional protocols.





Skills & Requirements

- M.Sc. in Medical Physics is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of radiation physics, dosimetry and radiation protection.
- Valuable practical and teaching skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to guide and mentor students effectively.
- Clinical/hospital experience in Medical Physics will be an added advantage.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
