Civil Site Supervisor Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Site Supervisor to manage daily construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for site measurements, labour management, work allocation, attendance, quality control, material coordination, and daily progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Take daily site measurements and verify completed work quantities.
- Arrange the required labour/manpower according to daily work requirements.
- Allocate daily work to labour and clearly explain the work scope and requirements.
- Maintain daily labour attendance and manpower records.
- Monitor labour productivity and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the site.
- Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Supervise RCC, PCC, brickwork/blockwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, excavation, and other civil works.
- Check the quality of workmanship and ensure proper execution of work.
- Identify defects and coordinate necessary rectification or rework.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, and workers.
- Check and verify contractor/subcontractor measurements.
- Prepare and maintain measurement sheets/MB and support RA/final billing measurements.




- Monitor the availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Inform the concerned person about material shortages and site requirements.
- Maintain daily site progress reports and work records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
- Enforce site safety rules and procedures among workers.
- Report daily progress, manpower status, site issues, and delays to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Ensure work is completed according to required quality, quantity, and schedule.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in civil construction/site supervision.
- Practical knowledge of site measurements and quantity calculations.
- Experience in labour handling and manpower management.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
- Knowledge of construction materials and basic construction methods.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and site documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
