Indure Pvt. Ltd. is a 55-year-old EPC company executing turnkey ash and coal handling systems, balance-of-plant packages, and complete EPC of power projects.

Role Summary:

The Civil & Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and analysis of all civil and structural works associated with power and industrial projects. This includes static and dynamic foundations, buildings, major structures, and critical components like cooling towers, chimneys, and turbo-generator (TG) decks.

Role & responsibilities

1. Design & Analysis

- Design static and dynamic foundations for rotating and vibrating equipment such as:
- Turbo-generator (TG) sets, fans, mills, compressors, crushers, pumps, and transformers.
- Design of TG decks, including:
- Framed structure layout, vibration control, stiffness analysis, and interaction with turbine manufacturer requirements.
- Design of RCC and steel structures, including:
- Boiler and ESP supporting structures, pipe racks, trestles, silos, tanks, and pump houses.
- Design of special structures such as:
- Cooling towers (NDCT/IDCT), chimneys, control room buildings, and machine foundations.
- Perform load analysis considering seismic, wind, and dynamic effects as per IS 1893, IS 875, and other applicable codes.
- Prepare and review design basis reports, design calculations, reinforcement details,



and general arrangement drawings.
- Use of engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD.

2. Coordination & Support

- Interface with mechanical, electrical, and C&I; engineering teams for foundation and structural load data.
- Support project execution and site teams during construction, resolving design or layout issues.
- Coordinate with clients and third-party consultants for design reviews and approvals.

3. Quality & Documentation

- Ensure adherence to national/international codes (IS, ACI, BS, Eurocode).
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, constructability, and safety.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all design deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile B.E./B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) or M.E./M.Tech. (Structural Engineering) from a reputed institution.

- Experience: 8 to 15 years in power plant, industrial, or heavy infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD.
- Strong background in:
- TG deck design
- Dynamic foundation analysis
- Cooling tower and chimney design
- Heavy equipment and building foundation design

Key Skills:
- Solid understanding of vibration analysis, dynamic loads, and soil-structure interaction.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and general layout drawings for integrated civil design.
- Solid command of Indian and international design codes.
- High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to schedule.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills.
