We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the site.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, workers, and project teams.
- Read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure construction work is executed according to approved drawings and project requirements.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
- Check measurements and quantities of completed works for billing and documentation.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report deviations or quality issues.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients whenever required.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, measurements, work progress, and site instructions.
- Support project planning and execution to achieve project targets within the specified timeline.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods and site practices.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
- Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
- Positive communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of MS Office and relevant civil engineering software will be an advantage.
