Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred. NICMAR qualification will be an added advantage.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of Internal Audit experience in Solar projects. The role will involve conducting in office reviews of civil works, assessing compliance, identifying operational risks and inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site reviews and audits of civil works.
- Evaluate adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assess civil maintenance practices and processes.
- Evaluate equipment utilization and operational effectiveness.
- Review contractor performance, work quality, and billing.
- Review material management and utilization.
- Identify key risks and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Support preparation of internal audit reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders during audit assignments.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of civil works, preferably within solar projects.
- Knowledge of safety standards and SOPs.
- Hands-on exposure to Internal Audit assignments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively at a client site.
