Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. The role involves ensuring construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines, while effectively managing materials, manpower, subcontractors, and site activities. Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Construction Execution

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate and monitor civil works including excavation, PCC, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and external development works.
- Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of activities to minimize delays and maintain project schedules.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing works and identify potential site-level issues or delays.

2. Material Planning & Management

- Prepare daily and weekly material requirements based on project activities and site progress.
- Verify the quantity and quality of materials received at the site.
- Monitor consumption of cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, and other construction materials.




- Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage and unauthorized usage.
- Coordinate with the Stores and Procurement teams for timely availability of required materials.

3. Labour & Subcontractor Management

- Monitor labour deployment and productivity at the project site.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and specialized agencies for execution of assigned works.
- Allocate work to labour and subcontractors based on project priorities and planned activities.
- Verify daily manpower attendance and monitor work progress.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with project requirements, specifications, and site procedures.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid knowledge of civil construction practices and site execution.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Ability to coordinate labour, subcontractors, stores, and procurement teams.
- Good material planning and inventory management skills.
- Strong site supervision and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project timelines.

Salary: 25000 - 30000 GBP Per month
