Civil Engineer / Site Engineer — Happy Hommes Design & Build From Intent to Reality Position Civil Engineer (Site Execution) Division Happy Hommes Design & Build (HH D&B;) Location Bhatenda, Rajarhat–Badamtala Road, Kolkata 700135 (with site travel across West Bengal) Experience Minimum 3 years in building construction (mandatory) Qualification Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Employment type Full time, on-roll Reporting to Civil Execution Head / Founder CTC [To be filled — as per experience and last drawn] About the role Happy Hommes Design & Build takes residential and commercial projects from land to handover — sanction plan, foundation, structure, finishing, and turnkey delivery. We are looking for a Civil Engineer who can independently run sites, hold quality and timeline, and represent the company in front of the client with confidence. This is a site-facing role.

Key responsibilities Site execution Run assigned G+1 / G+2 residential and commercial sites from foundation to handover Set out layout, check centre line, column positions, levels, plumb and alignment before every major pour Supervise excavation, PCC, footing, column, beam, slab, brickwork, plaster, flooring and finishing stages Ensure work follows the approved sanction plan and structural drawing — no deviation without written approval Quality control Check steel diameter, spacing, lapping, cover blocks and binding before concreting Verify concrete grade, mix, slump and curing schedule; maintain cube test records where applicable Inspect material on arrival — cement, steel, sand, stone chips, bricks — and reject substandard supply Maintain a site checklist and photo record for every stage Planning & measurement Prepare bar bending schedules and material requirement statements stage-wise Take running measurements,



verify contractor/labour bills against actual work done Estimate quantities and assist in BOQ preparation for new projects Track material consumption against estimate and flag wastage Coordination Manage labour contractors, masons, bar benders, plumbers and electricians on site Coordinate with the design team, architect and LBS for drawings, revisions and sanction-related work Liaise with the purchase team for timely material delivery so work never stops Mark electrical and plumbing points before plastering (as per our Ayushman package standard) so walls are never broken later Client & reporting Give the client a clear weekly progress update — stage completed, next stage, any decision pending from their side Handle client site visits professionally and answer technical questions in simple language Submit daily site report (manpower, material received, work done, hindrance) to the office Maintain records in the company CRM / reporting system Safety & site discipline Enforce basic safety — helmets, scaffolding stability, barricading, safe material stacking Keep the site clean, organised and presentable at all times Must have Minimum 3 years of hands-on building construction experience (RCC framed structure, G+1 and above) Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and sanction drawings independently Robust knowledge of RCC, brickwork, plaster, waterproofing and finishing practice Quantity estimation, BBS and measurement/billing capability AutoCAD and MS Excel working knowledge Fluent Bengali and Hindi; working English for documentation and client mails Own two-wheeler with valid licence; willingness to travel to sites across districts (Baruipur, Barasat, Kharagpur, Bardhaman, Raniganj, Murshidabad etc.) Good to haveExperience with turnkey / design-build firms rather than pure labour contracting Familiarity with municipal and panchayat sanction procedure in West Bengal Basic understanding of Vastu principles in planning (we deliver Vastu-integrated construction — training will be given) Interior finishing exposure (false ceiling, modular, painting) Experience handling multiple sites simultane
