Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer Draftsman role based in Madurai.

The Civil Engineer

Draftsman will prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, construction documents, and working drawings for architecture and interior projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with structural and civil standards. The role involves coordinating with architects, designers, and site teams to translate design concepts into executable technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts. The draftsperson will update drawings based on design revisions and site inputs,



maintain organized drawing files and documentation, and support quantity estimation and basic measurements as required. The position also includes reviewing drawings for quality and consistency, assisting in resolving technical issues, and aligning outputs with local building codes and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong CAD drafting skills with proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD and related civil/architecture drafting software.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings and convert them into precise working drawings.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and basic structural and civil engineering principles.
- Attention to detail in dimensioning, annotation, and documentation, with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with architects, designers, and site teams.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to design changes.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Draftsmanship, or a related field.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is an advantage; familiarity with local building codes is preferred.
