About the Role

Armson Homes is looking for a Civil Engineer with solid AutoCAD and design skills to join our team. The role involves a combination of design preparation, AutoCAD drafting, customer interaction, site visits, and project coordination.

The candidate should be technically sound, comfortable interacting with customers, and capable of taking a project from design discussions through site execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & AutoCAD

- Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, layouts, working drawings, and detailed drawings as required.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with the architectural and engineering teams for design development.
- Make drawing revisions based on client requirements and site conditions.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, and constructability.
- Prepare drawings and documentation required for project execution.

Customer Interaction
- Interact directly with customers to understand their requirements, preferences, and project expectations.
- Discuss design options, layouts, modifications, and technical aspects with customers.
- Coordinate with customers for drawing approvals and necessary confirmations.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the project.
- Address customer queries related to design and site execution in coordination with the concerned team.

Site Visits & Coordination
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and verify site conditions.
- Take site measurements and prepare drawings based on actual site requirements.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other project teams.
- Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.




- Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the site team for appropriate solutions.
- Verify measurements, dimensions, levels, and other technical details at the site.
- Monitor the quality and progress of assigned works.

Project Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated drawings, revisions, measurements, and project-related documents.
- Prepare site visit reports and progress updates when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Follow up on pending drawings, approvals, materials, and site requirements.

Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 1–4 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, residential projects, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good understanding of building plans, construction drawings, dimensions, and detailing.
- Practical knowledge of residential construction and site execution.
- Willingness to travel for regular site visits.
- Good customer interaction and communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into drawings/design solutions.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and basic construction measurements will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SketchUp / 3D software will be an added advantage.
