About the Role

Jaldhara is launching a hyperlocal, subscription-based water can and jar delivery network across Jaipur. We're hiring the first City Operations & Vendor Success Manager - the person who builds and runs the vendor network that makes every delivery happen. This is a founding operations role: you won't be managing an existing system, you'll be building the one that gets used from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Onboarding

- Identify, pitch, and onboard local water can/jar vendors, matched to Jaipur zones mapped on a 5–10 km delivery radius.
- Set explicit service expectations at onboarding — coverage area, delivery frequency handling, hygiene/refill standards, and subscription acceptance turnaround.

Vendor Relationship Management

- Act as the single point of contact for every onboarded vendor - the person they call, and the person who calls them.
- Follow up directly when a paid subscription request hasn't been accepted, to make sure it gets picked up quickly.
- Resolve delivery issues in real time - when a customer doesn't receive their order get on the phone with the vendor and fix it.

Coverage & Continuity

- Identify and onboard backup vendors per zone so a single vendor's unavailability never stalls service.
- Track vendor acceptance time, delivery SLA adherence, and escalation counts; report patterns back to the founder.

On-Ground Presence

- Conduct periodic field visits to vendors for spot checks on service quality and hygiene compliance.
- Build genuine,



a trust-based relationship with vendors - this role runs on relationships, not just a dashboard.

What You'll Need

- Graduate in any discipline; operations, logistics, or business background is a plus, but not required.
- Prior experience in operations, vendor management, last-mile delivery, or field sales – 1+ years preferred; strong fresher’s welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Hindi and English - you'll be building relationships with vendors across the city.
- Comfortable with regular fieldwork and vendor visits across Jaipur.
- Basic comfort with using an app/dashboard to track requests, log status, and follow up.
- A self-starter mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage startup pace, where you'll help shape the process, not just follow one.
- Own two-wheeler with a valid license, preferred for regular field movement.

Nice to Have

- Experience in water, dairy, FMCG, or other last-mile/subscription distribution categories.
- Existing familiarity with Jaipur's neighbourhoods and local vendor/supplier networks.

Compensation & Growth Compensation: Competitive, based on experience - final structure to be shared during discussion.

- Founding role in Jaldhara's operations team, with direct mentorship from the founder.
- Clear growth path — as vendor coverage expands beyond Phase 1, this role grows into leading a larger city operations team.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
