Role & Responsibilities:

- The NCE delivers the technologies, solutions and services which customers need to expertly manage their networks.

- Handle multiple customers for implementation and migration needs remotely or onsite.

- Takes ownership of task/project implementation /migration for assigned engagements.

- Implement new techniques and methodologies applied in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.

- Builds and/or reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, implementation / Change Management Plans.

- Builds and/or use test environments as required to resolve sophisticated problems compatibility issues.

- You will be part of Cisco's CX (Customer Experience) Organization. You will work very closely with our HTOM,

- HTTS/TAC CSEs, NCEs, SEs, as well as the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) aligned to this engagement.

- Associate with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the optimization /strategy/deployment of Cisco services and solutions.

Technical Expertise: Routing and Switching (Catalyst 9k):

- Basics: Understanding of IP/TCP networking, Routing, Switching and security concepts.

- Products:



Understanding of below Cisco products but not limited to, Cisco Catalyst 9k, Cisco Catalyst 2k, 3k, 4k and 6k product families

- ENT Routing & Switching: Should have Knowledge on Routing and switching Technologies like IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, MSTP, LACP, VLAN

- Significant practical experience in installation, configuration, migration and troubleshooting issues across networking equipment.

- In-depth exposure on Cisco Cat 9K family from installation, commissioning, configuration (Mandatory)

- Basis Understanding and experience in Cisco switching platforms is Must.

- Updating Network equipment to the latest firmware releases.

- Identifying and replacing faulty network hardware components when required.

- Reporting configuration, network and project status to key stakeholders.

- Strong knowledge in Routing and Switching technology such as BGP, OSPF, VPC, Multicast, STP, RSTP, MSTP, NAT, PBR, HSRP

- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills within technology community.

- Excellent problem analysis and solving skill applying creativity, innovation and thinking out of the box approach when dealing with challenges.

- Able to work under high pressure in a challenging setting.
