- Preparing Technical Particulars / Design Datasheets & Cross-sectional drawings for EHV, HV, MV XLPE, Solar, MVCC Cables as per Indian & International standards
- Preparing manufacturing guidelines for plant production team
- Knowledge of Indian Standards (IS) & International Standards (IEC, BS, AS/NZS, UL etc)
- Raw material estimation (Bill of material) calculation for cable costing
- Calculations of all Electrical parameters applicable for HV/EHV cable
- Calculation of accessories for EHV cable turnkey projects along with cable system design
- Ability to design current products
- Knowledge about Raw materials of HV/EHV cable
- Knowledge about HV/EHV cable testing
- Familiar with SAP/AutoCAD / CYMCAP
Job Requirements :
- 8-15 years of experience in new product development for high voltage cables or related industries.
- Proficiency in drawing creation using Autocad software.
- Strong understanding of cable design principles, including conductor selection and insulation materials.
