Chief Manager Paint Shop-10+ years- Hoshiarpur, Punjab

We are looking for an experienced Chief Manager – Paint Shop to lead and enhance paint shop operations for tractor chassis, heavy sheet metal components, and wheel rims. The role will focus on robotic painting automation, paint quality, surface finish, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities –

1. Lead automated paint line operations including 6-axis spray robots, CED coating, liquid painting, and wheel rim coating processes.
2. Program and optimize robotic painting parameters, including path trajectories, electrostatic bell parameters, atomization air, and flow rates to improve paint transfer efficiency.
3. Maintain paint quality standards for DFT, gloss, color matching, adhesion, and Salt Spray Test performance while reducing paint defects.
4. Oversee chemical pre-treatment processes, sludge handling systems, paint booth AHUs, and curing ovens.
5. Drive cost-per-tractor reduction through optimization of paint yield, chemical and solvent consumption while ensuring environmental, safety, and VOC compliance.

Requirements –

1. 10+ years of dedicated Paint Shop experience in tractor, automotive OEM, or heavy commercial vehicle manufacturing setups.
2. Hands-on experience with industrial robotic painting systems such as ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa, or similar platforms.
3. Strong knowledge of CED coating, liquid/powder paint application, and surface treatment chemistry.
4. B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, or a specialized Diploma/Degree in Paint Technology / Surface Coating.
5.



Candidates from Punjab or professionals with solid familiarity with the Punjab region will be preferred.
