Role Purpose The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be responsible for driving the overall people strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives, growth plans, and transformation agenda. The role will lead HR strategy across workforce planning, talent management, culture building, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and HR governance across PAN India operations.

The CHRO will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, enabling organizational effectiveness and building a future-ready workforce for a fast-growing NBFC and microfinance ecosystem.

- HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Partner with CEO and leadership team on organizational design and workforce planning.
- Drive HR transformation initiatives supporting digitalization and scalability.
- Build a strong performance-driven and values-led organizational culture.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead strategic hiring across corporate, operations, credit, risk, technology, and field workforce.
- Design manpower planning frameworks for a large distributed employee base.
- Strengthen employer branding within BFSI/NBFC talent markets.
- Build leadership succession pipelines.
- Talent Management & Leadership Development
- Design leadership development and succession planning frameworks.
- Implement competency frameworks and career progression models.
- Drive high-potential employee identification and retention strategies.




- Establish a learning & development ecosystem including behavioral and functional training.
- Employee Experience & Engagement
- Build strong employee engagement programs across corporate and field workforce.
- Enhance employee lifecycle experience from onboarding to exit.
- Drive culture initiatives aligned with organizational values.
- Improve retention and productivity across field operations.
- Performance Management & Rewards
- Design performance management systems aligned with business KPIs.
- Lead compensation & perks strategy ensuring market competitiveness.
- Oversee incentive structures for sales and field teams.
- Drive a pay-for-performance philosophy.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee HR operations, payroll governance, and HRMS implementation.
- Strengthen HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain strong governance and risk controls.
- Organizational Development & Change Management
- Lead organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
- Support mergers, expansions, and business transformation programs.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Stakeholder & Board Engagement
- Present HR metrics and strategy updates to the Board and senior leadership.
- Act as a trusted advisor on people-related risks and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business heads across regions.
