About Saraswathy Group

Saraswathy Group is a growing business group with multiple retail and wholesale operations, including Saraswathy Pooja World, Saraswathy Dairy, Saraswathy Flowers, Saraswathy Handlooms and SARVA.

We are expanding our operations, improving our accounting and reporting systems, and building a more structured management system across our businesses.

We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Finance / CFO-level qualified who can take complete ownership of the group's accounts, finance, reporting, controls and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for accounts and finance operations across the group.
- Manage and review accounts of multiple businesses, branches and GST registrations.
- Ensure accurate daily, monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Monitor sales, purchases, expenses, cash flow, receivables, payables, stock and profitability.
- Prepare and analyse branch-wise and business-wise P&L;, balance sheet and management reports.
- Monitor cash, bank accounts, UPI collections, credit sales and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of cash, bank, UPI, credit sales and supplier accounts.
- Review and control branch-level accounting practices.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, GST consultants, tax consultants and banks.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, income tax and other statutory compliance.
- Identify accounting errors, leakages, unnecessary expenses and financial risks.
- Establish strong internal controls and financial procedures across branches.
- Monitor inventory accounting and investigate stock differences, damages, wastage and losses.
- Improve the existing accounting and reporting systems and introduce better processes wherever required.
- Work with management on budgeting, cost control, working capital and business expansion decisions.




- Provide management with clear financial analysis and practical recommendations.
- Help implement and manage accounting/ERP systems such as Tally, Odoo or other business software.
- Create standardised financial procedures for all branches and business divisions.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of company financial information.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is not just an accountant who enters vouchers, but someone who can independently understand the entire business from a financial perspective and build a strong finance system.

The ideal candidate should be:

- Strong in accounting, taxation, finance and financial analysis.
- Capable of independently managing accounts for a multi-branch business group.
- Very strong in Excel / Google Sheets and accounting software.
- Experienced with Tally Prime; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, banking and statutory compliance.
- Able to analyse financial statements and identify problems without being told where to look.
- Good at finding financial leakages, discrepancies and process weaknesses.
- Robust in reconciliation and documentation.
- Comfortable dealing with multiple branches, employees, suppliers and management.
- Able to create systems and processes rather than simply following existing procedures.
- Honest, trustworthy and extremely careful with financial information.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.

Preferred Experience




- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts / finance / financial management.
- Experience handling multiple branches or multiple business entities is preferred.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, FMCG, distribution or similar businesses will be an advantage.
- CA Inter, CMA, M.Com, B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical experience and exceptional accounting/finance skills are also encouraged to apply.

What You Will Be Expected to Achieve The person joining this role will be expected to gradually take complete ownership of the group's finance function. You should be capable of answering questions such as:
- How much did each branch sell today?
- What is the actual profit of each business?
- Where is our cash?
- How much money is pending from customers?
- How much do we owe suppliers?
- Where are stock losses happening?
- Which branches are performing well?
- Where are expenses increasing?
- What are the major financial risks?
- Are our books and GST records correct?
- What can management do to improve profitability and cash flow?

We are looking for someone who can bring expertise, discipline and better financial systems to the organisation and eventually build and manage the complete finance department.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, knowledge and capability.

Candidates who demonstrate exceptional practical knowledge and the ability to independently manage the group's finance function may be considered accordingly.
