Atrico Tech Solutions LLP is a technology and digital solutions company focused on building and delivering modern web platforms, business applications, digital products, and technology solutions for growing businesses.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take ownership of our technology direction, lead our engineering team, strengthen our development processes, and contribute hands-on to the architecture and development of complex web applications.

The Role

You will be Atrico Tech Solutions LLP's most senior technology person, working on-site in Ludhiana and leading a small in-house engineering team.

This is a hands-on CTO role. You will spend real time in the codebase — reviewing pull requests, designing systems, solving complex technical problems, and writing code for critical components yourself.

You will also be responsible for turning business requirements into practical technical solutions, establishing engineering standards, mentoring developers, and helping the company scale its technology capabilities.

What You Will OwnTechnology & Application Development

- End-to-end responsibility for application architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
- Review existing systems and identify technical risks, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish reliable development, testing, staging, and deployment processes.
- Ensure applications are secure, maintainable, and scalable.

Backend & API Development
- Lead development using PHP and Laravel.
- Design and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Develop reliable database structures and backend services.
- Implement queues, jobs, events, caching, authentication, and other Laravel services.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system performance.

Database & Infrastructure
- Own MySQL database architecture, schema design, indexing, optimization, and migrations.
- Monitor application performance and database health.
- Lead deployment, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Work with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
- Establish backup, security, and disaster-recovery practices.

Internal Tools & Operations
- Build internal tools and dashboards required by the business.




- Establish monitoring and alerting for critical systems.
- Create efficient workflows for development and technical operations.
- Lead incident response and troubleshoot production issues.

Team & Process
- Mentor and guide existing developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and pair programming.
- Establish engineering standards covering testing, branching, deployment, documentation, and code review.
- Hire and onboard additional developers as the company grows.
- Set technical standards for the engineering team.
- Translate business requirements into an organized and prioritized technical roadmap.
- Work directly with the founder to evaluate technical priorities, timelines, and feasibility.

Required Experience
- 8 years of experience building and shipping web applications, with at least 3 years in a lead, principal, architect, or CTO-level role.
- Deep PHP and Laravel expertise — Eloquent, queues and jobs, events, caching, service container, API resources, and testing with PHPUnit or Pest.
- Solid MySQL / relational database experience — schema modelling, indexing, query optimization, transactions, isolation levels, and migrations on live systems.
- Third-party API integration experience at production scale.
- Production ownership experience including deployment, monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Experience working with Linux and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
- Front-end competence with Blade, Livewire, Inertia, Vue, or React.
- Strong understanding of application security and scalable architecture.
- Proven mentorship experience with the ability to develop and improve engineering teams.
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills.

Strongly Preferred
- Experience working with travel technology, booking systems, marketplaces, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, or other transaction-based platforms.
- Experience integrating external supplier, payment,



or marketplace APIs.
- Experience with high-volume search, caching, and availability systems.
- Understanding of SEO for transactional websites, including server-side rendering, structured data, and page performance.
- Experience working with remote founders, international clients, or distributed teams.
- Experience taking a product from development through production and continued scaling.
