Role & responsibilities

1. Plan and implement engaging lessons covering physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry.

2. Relate scientic ideas to real-life contexts and other subject areas to foster holistic understanding.

3. Design, supervise, and evaluate laboratory experiments.

4. Track individual student progress guide students in self-assessment and improvement using mark schemes and examiner reports.

5. Develop open-ended inquiry-based learning experiences promoting scientic thinking

Preferred candidate profile

1. Experience in teaching research based project work and science in school settings

2. Some experience teaching senior secondary chemistry, preferably in a Cambridge curriculum setting. Knowledge and understanding of Cambridge International Curriculum will be an advantage.

3. Solid understanding of core and advanced chemistry concepts across physical,inorganic, and organic domains.

4. Demonstrated experience in experimental design, theoretical calculations and data analyses.

5. Effective communication and classroom management skills.
