Role Description The Checkers role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The Checkers will be responsible for reviewing and verifying detailed steel drawings, models, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and client standards. Daily activities include cross-checking dimensions, connections, and material specifications, coordinating with detailers and engineers to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring that all revisions are correctly incorporated.

The role involves maintaining quality control processes, preparing review reports, and supporting project timelines by identifying potential issues early. The Checkers will collaborate closely with project managers, fabrication teams, and other stakeholders to help deliver error-free deliverables and smooth execution on site.

Qualifications

3-8 years of experience

- Strong understanding of structural steel detailing, fabrication processes, and construction drawings,



with the ability to interpret and review complex designs.
- Proficiency in relevant detailing and modeling software (such as Tekla Structures, SDS/2, AutoCAD, or similar tools) and familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- Experience in quality control or checking roles, including systematic review of drawings, models, and reports for accuracy and consistency.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with detailers, engineers, and project managers, and to provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to identify errors, assess risks, and suggest practical corrections.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Diploma or degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant experience in steel detailing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of international fabrication and erection standards and prior exposure to global projects will be an added advantage.
