We are looking for a

Chartering Manager with extensive experience in Dry Bulk Chartering and Derivatives Trading. The role will be responsible for cargo and vessel fixing, fleet allocation, freight trading, contract coverage, market analysis, and the execution of chartering and derivatives transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Fix cargoes on single, back-to-back fixtures and Contracts of Affreightment (COAs).

- Fix vessels on single-trip and period charters.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vessel owners, brokers, and key market participants.

- Manage fleet allocation, freight trading, and contract coverage in line with commercial objectives.

- Monitor and conduct periodic analysis of fleet earnings, freight markets, and broader market developments.

- Manage derivatives planning and execution, including Forward Freight Agreements (FFAs) and related instruments.

- Negotiate and execute chartering and derivatives deals with brokers and counterparties.

- Manage the production and execution of FFA and bunker swap monthly settlements.

- Prepare and coordinate Month-End P&L; reporting and reconciliation.

- Circulate market updates, analysis,



and commercial insights to management and the wider commercial teams.

- Identify market opportunities and risks and provide timely commercial input to support chartering and fleet deployment decisions.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Minimum

5 years of relevant experience in Dry Bulk Chartering

.

- Proven track record in Dry Bulk Chartering and Derivatives Trading.

- Strong network and established relationships with key vessel owners, brokers, and industry decision-makers.

- Strong understanding of freight markets, vessel economics, chartering strategies, and fleet earnings.

- Experience in FFA trading, bunker swaps, settlements, and Month-End P&L; processes.

- Strong commercial negotiation and deal-execution skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and energetic environment, including under pressure.

- Flexible, proactive, resourceful, and commercially focused with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and decision-making skills.
