Roles and Responsibilities The role involves handling CFO-support work for a portfolio of clients financial reporting, FP&A;, MIS and controllership and representing the firm in client discussions. The position carries ownership of client deliverables and direct interaction with client management.

Key Responsibilities The responsibilities listed below are indicative and may vary depending on the client portfolio assigned.

CFO Services & Controllership l Act as an outsourced CFO / financial controller for assigned clients.

l Monitor cash flow and working capital, support fund planning, and conduct periodic financial reviews with client management.

l Review and strengthen internal controls, accounting processes and SOPs at client level.

l Support due diligence, lender and investor requirements; prepare board / investor reporting packs.

FP&A; l Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.

l Budget vs. actual and variance analysis, with clear commentary on what is driving the numbers.

l Design and review monthly MIS with relevant KPIs and business insights.

Financial Reporting l Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close for assigned clients.

l Review and finalise financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) as per applicable requirements.

l Coordinate with statutory auditors and drive audit closure.

l Handle consolidated / group reporting where applicable.

Client Representation & Coordination l Act as the single point of contact for assigned clients and represent the firm in client meetings.

l Present numbers, explain variances and address management queries.

l Manage scope,



timelines and expectations; follow up on data and close open points.

l Flag risks, compliance gaps and escalations to the Partner on time.

Review & Team Supervision l Review books of accounts, GST and TDS workings and returns prepared by the team before filing.

l Review reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and schedules for accuracy and completeness.

l Allocate work, set timelines, and ensure client deadlines are met.

l Guide junior team members and resolve their technical queries.

Eligibility l CA / CA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

l 3 - 4 years of experience, preferably in a CFO services, FP&A;, financial reporting or controllership role.

l Strong grasp of financial statements, accounting standards and MIS.

l Solid Excel and reporting skills; comfortable with Tally and cloud accounting software.

l Working knowledge of GST and TDS, sufficient to review team deliverables.

l Confident communication and the ability to hold a discussion with client management independently.

Preferred

Candidates from a virtual CFO / outsourced finance function, an FP&A; or controllership role, or a CA firm handling reporting and advisory work. Multi-client exposure will be an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 1-2 years' experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
