Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Kolkata.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. The role involves overseeing statutory compliances, handling tax planning and filings, supporting audits, and preparing management reports and financial analyses to support business decisions. The professional will collaborate with leadership to optimize financial processes, implement internal controls,



and contribute to the financial sustainability of recent and existing business ventures.

The Chartered

Accountant will also liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions as required.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in taxation, including direct and indirect taxes, tax planning, and compliance.
- Proficiency in auditing practices, internal controls, and risk assessment.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
- Prior experience in corporate, consulting, or entrepreneurial environments is an advantage.
