Role Description The CCTV Engineer role at Heer Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The CCTV Engineer will install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, NVR/DVR units, cabling, and related networking components.

Responsibilities include performing site surveys, designing camera layouts, troubleshooting system issues, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring optimal performance and coverage. The role also involves coordinating with clients, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with other ELV and automation teams to integrate CCTV solutions with broader security systems. The CCTV Engineer is expected to follow safety standards, adhere to company procedures,



and support occasional after-hours maintenance or emergency calls as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in CCTV installation and maintenance, including cameras, NVR/DVR systems, cabling, and power supplies.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals relevant to CCTV systems, such as IP addressing, routers/switches, and basic network security.
- Ability to conduct site surveys, plan camera layouts, and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
- Experience with other ELV systems (e.g., access control, intrusion alarms, video door phones, home automation) is an advantage.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on system reliability.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members, and for preparing clear technical reports.
- Capability to work on-site in varying environments, including comfort with field work, equipment handling, and adherence to safety practices.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or a related field; qualified certifications in CCTV or security systems are a plus.
- Previous experience in CCTV or ELV system engineering or installation is preferred, but candidates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered.
