About the role:
We are looking for a Category Management professional – Jewellery to own and scale the Jewellery category at FirstClub.
This role will involve building the right assortment, identifying and onboarding brands/vendors, driving category growth, managing pricing and margins, and ensuring solid availability and customer experience. The ideal candidate combines commercial understanding, strong analytical skills, vendor management capabilities, and a sharp understanding of consumer trends in Jewellery.
What you'll do:
1. Category Strategy & Growth
- Own the overall P&L; and growth charter for the Jewellery category.
- Develop category strategy across assortment, pricing, promotions, availability and customer experience.
- Identify growth opportunities by analysing category, customer and competitive trends.
- Define and track key category metrics such as revenue, margins, conversion, ASP, sell-through, availability and repeat purchase.
2. Assortment & Selection
- Build a differentiated and relevant Jewellery assortment based on customer needs and market trends.
- Identify assortment gaps and opportunities across segments, price points, styles and occasions.
- Work closely with curation, catalog and operations teams to ensure timely listing and availability of products.
- Continuously optimise the assortment based on sales performance and customer behaviour.
3. Brand & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate and onboard relevant Jewellery brands, manufacturers and vendors.
- Build strong relationships with existing partners and negotiate commercials, pricing, margins and terms.
- Drive vendor performance on availability, assortment, pricing, fulfilment and quality.
- Work closely with vendors to launch new products and exclusive/differentiated offerings.

Pricing & Promotions
- Own category pricing strategy and ensure competitive pricing across key products.
- Plan and execute category-level promotions and campaigns.
- Analyse promotional performance and optimise investments to drive incremental growth while protecting margins.
5. Data & Analytics
- Use category and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and business risks.
- Build regular dashboards/reports to track category performance.
- Translate data into actionable insights around assortment, pricing, inventory, customer behaviour and vendor performance.
- Conduct competitor and market benchmarking.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, Supply Chain, Catalog, Product, Finance and Operations teams.
- Coordinate new launches, campaigns, inventory planning and category initiatives.
- Drive projects end-to-end with strong ownership and execution focus.
What we're looking for:
- 3–6 years of experience in Category Management / Buying / Merchandising / Business Management, preferably in Jewellery, Fashion, Lifestyle, Beauty or a related consumer category.
- Experience in E-commerce, Quick Commerce, D2C or organised retail is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Jewellery products, brands, consumer trends and price points.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Experience in vendor/brand management and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of category metrics, margins, pricing and assortment planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with BI/analytics tools is a plus.
