Job Summary The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, receiving payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service. The role ensures smooth and effective checkout operations while supporting daily store activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Payment Handling
- Greet customers professionally and courteously.
- Process customer orders and generate bills accurately.
- Receive payments through cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.
- Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
- Return correct balance/change to customers.
Cash Management
- Maintain cash drawer and ensure cash accuracy.
- Perform opening and closing cash counts.
- Reconcile daily sales and submit reports to management.
- Report discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with product information and pricing.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints politely.
- Ensure quick and efficient checkout service.
- Maintain a positive customer experience.
Store Operations
- Support order management and coordination with kitchen/service staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around the billing counter.
- Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock monitoring when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th/12th Pass.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems preferred.
- Experience in retail, café, restaurant, or hospitality is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Basic mathematics and cash handling skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible attitude.
Experience
- Fresher or 1-2 years of cashier experience in retail, café, restaurant, or F&B; industry.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
