Caretaker for Pregnant Woman

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy caretaker to provide day-to-day support and companionship to a pregnant woman at home.

The ideal candidate should be patient, hygienic, attentive, and comfortable assisting with routine household and personal-support activities during pregnancy.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide companionship and general support throughout the day.
- Assist with routine activities such as walking, sitting, getting up, and moving around safely when required.
- Help with preparing/serving meals, fruits, milk, water, etc., as instructed by the family.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the bedroom and immediate surroundings.
- Help with light household tasks related to the pregnant woman's comfort.
- Accompany her to doctor appointments or hospital visits when required.
- Keep track of routine appointments, medicines, and doctor instructions as directed by the family.
- Inform the family immediately if there is any unusual discomfort, bleeding, severe pain, dizziness, fever, or other concerning symptoms.




- Provide support during rest periods and ensure she is comfortable and has easy access to water, food, and other necessities.
- Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and respectful behaviour at all times.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience caring for pregnant women, elderly people, children, or patients will be an advantage.
- Should be physically fit enough to provide basic assistance with movement.
- Must be reliable, patient, hygienic, and trustworthy.
- Should have positive communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Hindi is required.
- Nursing/healthcare experience or training will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Important This is a caregiving and support role, not a medical/nursing position. The caretaker will not be expected to diagnose conditions, administer medical treatment, or make medical decisions.

Working Arrangement

- Full-time / live-in preferred
- Exact working hours and weekly off to be discussed during the interview.
- Salary will depend on experience, responsibilities, and live-in/non-live-in arrangement.
