About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Carpenter / Furniture Production Technician to join our office furniture manufacturing team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in office furniture manufacturing, furniture and storage assembly, panel cutting, and production drawing/cutlist preparation.

The ideal candidate should be able to independently understand drawings, prepare accurate cutlists, operate a panel saw, and ensure quality assembly of modular office furniture.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture and assemble modular office furniture, workstations, tables, storage units, pedestals, cabinets, and other furniture products.
- Read and understand furniture drawings, dimensions, and production details.
- Prepare accurate cutlists based on drawings and site/product requirements.
- Operate panel saw machines safely and efficiently for accurate cutting of boards and panels.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting.
- Carry out edge-banding, drilling, grooving, routing, and other basic furniture fabrication activities as required.
- Assemble furniture and storage systems with proper alignment, dimensions, and finishing.
- Install and adjust hinges, drawer channels, locks, handles, connectors, and other furniture hardware.
- Check dimensions and quality of components before assembly.
- Identify and rectify fabrication or assembly defects.
- Coordinate with the production supervisor, designers, and installation team.
- Assist in site installation and furniture modification when required.




- Minimize material wastage through proper cutting and nesting practices.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the production area.
- Handle tools, machinery, and materials responsibly.

Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing/carpentry.
- Strong experience in office furniture and storage assembly.
- Good knowledge of plywood, MDF, particle board, HDF, laminates, and other furniture materials.
- Practical experience operating a panel saw.
- Ability to prepare and understand cutlists.
- Ability to read basic furniture/shop drawings and work accurately according to dimensions.
- Knowledge of modular furniture hardware and fittings.
- Good measurement and finishing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work at project sites when required.

Preferred
- Experience in modular office furniture manufacturing.
- Experience in workstations, executive tables, storage cabinets, mobile pedestals, and customized furniture.
- Knowledge of production planning and material optimization.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings will be an advantage.

Salary ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level.
