Job Summary

Masaco Global is looking for a Career Counsellor to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have experience in career/education counselling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand students' academic backgrounds and guide them toward suitable higher-education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding higher education and career opportunities abroad.
- Understand students' academic profiles, career goals, interests, and preferences.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, courses, and study pathways based on student profiles.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling process.
- Explain course details, admission requirements, tuition fees, intakes, and other relevant information accurately.
- Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, counselling sessions, and conversions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve individual and team counselling/lead-conversion targets.




- Coordinate with the admissions and documentation teams to ensure a smooth student application process.
- Stay updated on changes in international education, university requirements, courses, and admission procedures.

Requirements
- 1–1.5 years of experience in career counselling, education counselling, study-abroad consultancy, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and proactive approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in study-abroad counselling will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
