Job Title :Cardiac Technician

Job Summary:

A Cardiac Technician is responsible for assisting cardiologists in conducting diagnostic cardiac procedures, operating cardiac monitoring equipment, maintaining patient records, and ensuring proper functioning of cardiac diagnostic equipment.

Job Role :

- Assist doctors during Echocardiography (2D Echo) and cardiac investigations, as per qualification and departmental requirements.
- Perform and monitor TMT (Treadmill Test) under medical supervision.
- Assist with Holter monitoring, installation, removal, and basic data preparation.
- Monitor patients' heart rate, rhythm, blood pressure, SpO₂, and other vital signs during procedures.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly before cardiac tests.
- Maintain accurate patient records, test reports, and procedure documentation.
- Ensure cardiac equipment is properly calibrated, clean, and functional and report technical issues promptly.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital protocols.




- Assist cardiologists and nursing staff during cardiac procedures when required.
- Handle cardiac diagnostic equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate with the Cardiology Department, laboratory, nursing team, and medical staff for smooth patient care.
- Ensure proper stock and availability of ECG electrodes, gels, leads, consumables, and other accessories.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and immediately inform the concerned doctor when abnormal findings or patient deterioration are observed.

Qualification : B.Sc. Cardiac Care Technology / B.Sc. Cardiac Technology or equivalent relevant qualification. Experience : Min 2years Experience
