Job Summary
Responsible for planning and executing end-to-end campus recruitment initiatives to attract, assess, and hire fresh talent across engineering and other business functions. The role focuses on campus hiring, Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) hiring, early-career talent acquisition in alignment with organizational workforce requirements.
The Campus Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR business partners, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to build sustainable campus talent pipelines, strengthen employer branding, and ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Campus Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Plan and execute end-to-end campus recruitment activities for engineering colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Manage DET (Diploma Engineer Trainee) hiring programs, including sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, selection, and offer management.
- Develop campus hiring strategies and annual recruitment plans based on business workforce requirements.
- Identify and build relationships with target colleges, universities, technical institutes, and placement cells.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, placement activities, job fairs, and recruitment events.
- Manage recruitment for entry-level, graduate, diploma, and other early-career positions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
Stakeholder & Institution Management
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR business partners, business leaders, and campus placement teams to ensure smooth recruitment execution.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with colleges, universities, placement officers, faculty members,
and external recruitment partners.
- Understand business hiring requirements and align campus recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate interview schedules, panel availability, candidate logistics, and recruitment event requirements.
- Provide regular updates and recruitment reports to stakeholders on hiring progress, pipeline status, and recruitment outcomes.
Recruitment Operations & Analytics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track campus hiring metrics, including applications, assessments, interview conversions, offers, acceptance rates, and joining ratios.
- Prepare periodic recruitment dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Analyze campus hiring outcomes and identify opportunities to improve sourcing, selection, candidate experience, and recruitment efficiency.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with internal policies, procedures, data privacy requirements, and applicable employment legislation.
- Identify opportunities to improve campus recruitment processes through technology, tools, and operational efficiencies.

- Human Resources Consulting: Partners with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and develop effective campus recruitment solutions.
- Data Analytics: Uses recruitment data and hiring metrics to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and support data-driven decisions.

Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing campus recruitment programs across engineering colleges and other educational institutions, including DET and entry-level hiring. Ability to build campus relationships, attract diverse early-career talent, manage recruitment drives, and deliver hiring outcomes aligned with business requirements.
