We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Engineer for our Bangalore Office.
Criteria
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2-4 years of experience as mechanical CAD Engineer.
- Must have hands on experience in Autodesk-AutoCAD software for 2D detailed engineering (Knowledge in Autodesk Inventor-3D modelling is an asset)
- Good knowledge in materials specifications (ASME, EN, IS etc) and standards (pipes, structural profiles, fits and tolerances etc.,).
- Positive knowledge of standard specifications and codes for pressure vessels such as ASME, EN and DIN etc.
- Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Sufficient expertise to work with little supervision.
- Good working knowledge of MS office.
- Able to communicate in English. Additional languages are an asset.
- Eager to learn Desmet processes and applications.
- Reports to Team Leader
- Makes Vessel drawings as per Technical sheet prepared by the process engineer, instructions received and the drawing standards.
- Responsible for the quality and the accuracy of the Drawings produced.
- Carries out the assigned jobs on time as per given schedule.
- Clarify all doubts with the Team Leader.
- Updates the time sheet.
