Role Overview The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating exact technical drawings and plans for furniture production, ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for furniture pieces — floor plans, elevations, sections & assembly drawings
- Work closely with designers, architects & engineers to understand design concepts and specifications
- Assist in specifying appropriate materials, finishes & hardware, considering cost-effectiveness and quality
- Revise and update existing drawings based on engineering changes or client feedback
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry and company standards
- Maintain and organise CAD files and project documentation
- Assist in site measurements and data collection as needed
- Review drawings for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
- Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines
