Job Summary

We are looking for a CA-qualified Techno-Functional Business Analyst with experience in the Fund Industry. The candidate should have a positive understanding of fund accounting, NAV, financial reporting and investment operations, along with strong Business Analysis and technology skills.

The role will involve working between business, finance, operations and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver system/process solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze and document business and system requirements.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
- Understand end-to-end fund accounting and investment processes.
- Work closely with developers, QA, product and business teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Define business rules, workflows, validations and acceptance criteria.
- Support UAT, test cases, defect tracking and implementation.




- Analyze data and investigate reconciliation or system-related issues.
- Support system enhancements, automation and process improvements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for requirement clarification and solution delivery.
- Support production issues, releases and post-implementation activities.

Fund Domain Knowledge Candidate should have knowledge of:

- Fund Accounting
- NAV Calculation and NAV Validation
- Private Equity / Private Credit / Hedge Funds
- Capital Calls, Contributions and Distributions
- Investor Allocations
- Investment Transactions and Portfolio Valuation
- Cash, Position and Trade Reconciliations
- Management Fees, Expenses, Accruals and Income
- Investor Reporting
- Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- GAAP / IFRS

Technical / BA Skills

- Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- BRD / FRD Documentation
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Process Mapping
- UAT and Testing
- Defect Analysis
- Data Analysis and Reconciliation
- SDLC / Agile
- MS Excel
- SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with fund accounting platforms such as Geneva, Investran, eFront, Allvue, Yardi, Advent or similar is an advantage.
